translation of the Germen version written by Johannes Götzen, Wormser Zeitung Sunday, 12th June 2005 800 people already came to the opening event in the first year, then in the second year torrential rain resulted in a slight slump, but now everything is well on its way once again. The youth organisation Jugendorganisation (JO) Worms is organising the Apostel Open Air for the third time in July, to take place at the fairground with the support of the daily newspaper Wormser Zeitung. The Open Air at the fairground was already the greatest event last year where reggae was concerned - friends of music came to Worms all the way from Mainz or Heidelberg. Marcus Belica of JO Worms has a clear-cut target: "We want to become the greatest event for youths in Worms". Blast off will be Friday, 22nd July.. DJ Safe Cut from Frankenthal will stage the event and of course the enormous foam gun will be a full fun generator. Some action is planned again for the end. After the "Limbo Contest" last year, the needle in the haystack has to be found, well not in the stack, but in a cage filled with foam. Of course great prizes can be won once more, not least thanks to sponsors such as Regi Shoes or Renolit. Saturday 23rd July is reserved for music, particularly for highlights of reggae, ragga and dance hall have already been booked. The top act will be "Mono and Nikitaman" from Switzerland, a duo who also perform individually in a solo act. "Maxim" and "Nattyflo" are further artists on stage this evening. The live acts will be followed by a sound system, a teaming up of DJs: Big River, Slin Rockaz and Big Mama. Advance ticket sales begin in a fortnight, tickets for the Friday performance cost four Euro and at the box office five, for Saturday seven or eight Euro respectively. The two-day ticket costs ten Euro.
